Please join us for a Saturday of interest, learning, and camaraderie! This event is open to the public, please join us.
A meeting sponsored by the Early American Industries Association will be held at the reconstructed Moses Wilder Blacksmith Shop in Bolton, MA. The shop was reconstructed on the site of the original, moved to Old Sturbridge Village in 1957.

The event will feature a demonstration by master blacksmith Jennifer Petrila followed by the opportunity for attendees to try their hand at blacksmithing. Four setups (forge, post vice, anvil & tools) will be supervised by experienced smiths for the use by attendees and a light lunch will be provided. We would like to focus particularly on young people who have not tried blacksmithing but have expressed an interest. A light lunch will be provided. Attendance will be limited to 25 and reservations are required.
